Privacy and cookies
This page explains how Ecommerce Map uses data when you explore the directory, contact us or manage a listing.
Site operation
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes requests needed to serve pages and protect forms. The site remembers your chosen language. When you enter through the main address, your approximate country from your IP address is used to open an available map. If you choose a country, a cookie remembers that preference for one year. Signing in uses a session cookie to give you access to your account.
Forms and accounts
When you submit a listing or claim one, we use the information you provide to review your request, contact you and manage the listing. Approved listing information is public. Your account email and sign-in links are not sent to Google Analytics. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through Brevo; you can unsubscribe using the link in each newsletter.
Audience measurement
Google Analytics starts automatically on public pages and receives information about visits, pages viewed, device/browser information and general location, plus outbound website domains and successful newsletter or listing submissions. We do not send the contents of forms, email addresses or account identifiers. Account and admin pages are excluded. URL queries and fragments are removed from the page URLs and referrers we send.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are set with a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewal on each visit. You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings.
Google Analytics
Google processes the measurement data to provide audience reports. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Google may process data outside your country. Event-level retention is controlled in our Analytics property; aggregated reports may be retained longer.
